I just can't get this out of my head

Ever since 2013 started...I have been in a funk.  I took a certification class but still didn't pass my certification test and I just haven't been able to let that go.  And since then...not much has been working for me.  The other day a kid came to my door and said if I got a subscription to the Washington Times she would get a scholarship.  And so...even though I don't want a subscription...I spent 25 dollars to do so.

And then the other night...I let a salesman at a kiosk at the mall talk me into buying this very expensive eye stuff.  Then I looked them up on the internet and they are known for their hard sale techniques and all that stuff.  Total scam.  But by jiminey crickets I am using that stupid cream.  And next time someone tries to talk me into buying something...I will stamp my feet and say NO!  And hopefully I can stop obsessing over this stupid moment and go on!
