A few words about Thanksgiving

 

I heard Garrison Keillor today do a Thanksgiving list on A Prairie Home Companion...so I thought I'd do a short list of the things I'm thankful for:

-having a job in this bad recession

-my friends and family

-that my Mom's knee surgery went well

-my 2 evil cats

-stupid TV

-my condo

-my Ford Escort

I'm off to visit with my family tomorrow and on Wednesday I'm driving off to Kentucky to spend Thanksgiving with friends.  I'm very thankful to have that opportunity to let go of work for a little bit and relax.

Or at least try.
